Agent: Compressed oxygen and hydrogen (fire/explosion — H₂ flammability, O₂-enriched ignition)

Health effects: Burns and blast injury from explosion; physical/mechanical injury.

Controls & PPE

Engineering controls: Plant separation of O₂/H₂; purity testing each shift; pressure/back-pressure limit switches; flame-proof electricals; competent-person plant examination.

PPE: Anti-static FR clothing; eye/face protection; no oil/grease on oxygen-service PPE.
